Every payment she makes, every savings goal she sets, every notification she gets, all of it runs on a chain of third-party vendors working quietly behind the scenes. If that chain breaks, bunq breaks for Eva. We're looking for someone to own that chain end to end, so that no single vendor ever becomes Eva's problem.
Take ownership
As our Risk Officer – Third Parties, you own third-party risk across bunq: the register, the controls, the exit plans, and the way the whole company works with vendors. You'll take a process that works but was built for a manual world and rebuild it into an AI end to end workflow. On top of that, you will own the following:
Modernise our third-party register (Omnea), embedding AI end-to-end so the register stays accurate in real time, not through periodic human updates.
Run live control tests to prove our safeguards actually hold under real conditions, not just on paper.
Own exit strategies and test them before a vendor crisis ever forces our hand
Build and own a third-party ownership training program, so every third party owner at bunq that touches a vendor knows exactly how to do it right.
