Take Ownership:
Regulatory and Audit Ownership: Take ownership of the regulatory, audit, and hygiene lists to ensure bunq is always compliant and audit-ready.
Financial Crime Prevention: Own the strategy and systems for fraud prevention, user quality gating, AML, and sanctions screening to protect users and the platform.
Process and System Design: Design, build, and control smart solutions to close regulatory gaps while balancing user experience, and improve the efficiency of security operations through automation and AI.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of 7 reports, guiding them to tackle complex challenges in the security and compliance space.

Leadership Experience: Proven skills in leading product teams, with experience managing a team of 4 or more people.
Regulatory Knowledge: Experience dealing with auditors and regulators, with some knowledge of payments, financial regulations, and certifications.
Technical Acumen: Possess the technical knowledge to dissect complex systems into simple, understandable concepts.
Project Management: Excellent project management skills to drive initiatives from conception to completion
