Since we do not like most standard solutions, we tackle the majority of processes in-house (with FreeBSD as our operating system of choice). We feel that each engineer must have the freedom to direct projects as they see fit.
You were already assembling your own PC at the age of 14, messing around with shell scripts. Building stuff is your life, inventing your favourite pastime. • Extensive knowledge on Linux / Unix / BSD / system administration and PF
• (Extensive) knowledge of network administration and MySQL clusters
• Comfortable around LDAP, Puppet and Icinga
• Willing to learn quickly, you tackle setbacks with a resilient mindset
• You continuously take responsibility for what you're doing
• You prefer doing it right over doing it (too) fast
