Take ownership
As the Product Owner - Payments, you will own the product strategy and roadmap to build a world-class, reliable, and user-friendly payment ecosystem.
Lead the integration and launch of new local payment methods in key European markets (including Austria, Portugal, Italy, and Poland), expanding our payment capabilities for users.
Own the product strategy and execution to drive the growth and user adoption of our existing innovative payment methods, such as Bizum and Wero.
Re-imagine and redesign the core payment experience within the bunq app, creating a seamless and intuitive journey that supports the co-existence of multiple local payment methods.
This challenge is perfect for you if
Proven product management skills, with specific experience in the end-to-end integration of new payment methods, from technical discovery to market launch.
A solid intermediate knowledge of core payment systems and schemes, including SWIFT, Target2, and SEPA.
A deep understanding of the end-to-end customer journey in payments and a user-obsessed mindset focused on simplicity and trust.
A strong technical aptitude and the ability to work effectively with engineers to break down complex problems and find simple, scalable solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English, combined with an understanding of how to monitor the health and performance of critical payment systems.
