Financial Accountant

As we build a bank that Makes Life Easy by eliminating the hassle of money admin, our users depend on the Finance Team to administer their money effectively and ensure that bunq allocates its resources wisely to serve them.

As a Financial Accountant at bunq, you’ll track daily transactions in our financial administration software, ensuring compliance with required regulations, such as IFRS standards and Dutch Accounting Practices.

You’ll contribute to making life easier for our users by safeguarding their daily banking activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that user deposit data is accurately reflected in the financial administration.

• Implement controls to verify that interest expenses paid to users are recorded completely and accurately.

• Ensuring the financial data of investments are processed into financial information accurately.

• Ensuring fee income is accurate and complete.

• You're great at keeping financial controls in check and have solid accounting know-how.

• You're very familiar with the IFRS standards.

• You’re comfortable crunching numbers and can navigate financial reports and spreadsheets with ease.

• Details matter to you, and you make sure every little thing is spot on.

• You are an excellent communicator in English.
