Our goal is to make life easy for our users by delivering a seamless banking experience tailored to their needs - and it often starts by making sure we're ready to launch where our users are 💪🏻 As bunq's International Expansion Intern, you will ensure that bunq is fully licensed and operationally ready in a new country, allowing our users to bank like a local wherever they are 🌈
Take ownership
You will be supporting us in our goal to go global 🌎 - that means, part of your ownership will include:
Localizing our current offers to our new markets
Define and tailor a local strategy to setup new branches 🔍
Executing those strategies, successfully establishing a branch in new markets (such as the UK)
This challenge is perfect for you if
You are currently enrolled at university or are an EU citizen
You have a knack for managing projects - from complex ones, to simple operational issues
You're a natural born problem-solver 📚
You have excellent communicative abilities, and you're fluent in English 🇬🇧
You are available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for a 3-month period

Your journey
How do you become a bunqer? It all starts with a few quick tests that allow us to determine if bunq is a fit for you. If the results show that we’re a match on these fronts, we take it a step further and explore specific roles together. Before we decide on making you an offer, you’ll get a chance to show your skills on your Get Shit Done day.
What to expect from the tests
To kick off your application, we’ll first help you check if bunq is the right environment for you to succeed. Our bunq assessment takes approximately 30 minutes and includes 2 tests: an abstract reasoning test and a personality test (MBTI). If we match here, we’ll move on to the next test - this is related to your skills, and differs per role.
